Privacy policy

What we collect

• Your account: name, email address and phone number.
• Optional extras you choose to add: a profile photo, a saved emergency contact and your favourite destinations.
• Each booking: the boat, trip date, destination, amount paid, the lead guest’s and emergency contact’s names and phone numbers, and any passenger names you add.
• Ratings and comments you leave after a trip, and messages you send the operator.
• A device identifier for push notifications, if you turn them on.

Who sees it

The operator running your trip sees what they need to run it: your name, phone number and photo, your emergency contact, passenger names, your messages and your rating. Jetty staff can see bookings to provide support.

Who processes it

Supabase stores your account and booking data. Paystack and Stripe process payments, so Jetty never sees your full card details. Resend sends account and booking emails, and Expo delivers push notifications, on our behalf.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from the app: Profile → Delete account. Your profile, photo, saved contacts and preferences are deleted. Past bookings and their messages are kept for our financial records, no longer linked to you, with the guest names and phone numbers on them removed. If you have an upcoming paid trip, deletion completes after it.
